A monitoring visit by the TA CR took place at the Brno Exhibition Centre (Hall A3, Conference Hall Brno), focusing on the interim evaluation of the project National Centre for Biotechnology in Veterinary Medicine (NaCeBiVet) (https://www.vri.cz/nacebivet/). The visit is part of the technical evaluation system for projects in accordance with Directive SME–03.
On behalf of the TA CR, participants included the project reporter Ing. Pavel Trefil, DrSc., as well as Karolína Hausleitnerová and the appointed consultant Prof. Ing. Luděk Stádník, Ph.D.
The programme was opened with a brief introduction by Ing. Ildikó Csölle Putzová, Ph.D., MBA, Deputy Director of VRI and coordinator of the Centre’s technology transfer activities. This was followed by presentations of 23 sub-projects. The discussion focused primarily on the fulfilment of planned results according to binding parameters and their practical application, both in terms of economic benefits for partners and environmental responsibility.
The evaluation results will be communicated to the principal investigators of each project in the coming days.
The NaCeBiVet project contributes to the sustainable production of high-quality and safe food of animal origin, with regard to reducing antibiotic use, improving animal welfare, supporting biodiversity, and promoting the principles of a circular economy.
