On 19 October 2026, the Veterinary Research Institute (VRI) welcomed Jan Doležal, President of the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic, Martin Fantyš, the Chamber’s Secretary, and Václav Suchan, its Director. The meeting focused on presenting the Institute’s activities, followed by a brief tour of its facilities, which enable research teams to develop and verify new findings. Expertise, experience and appropriate facilities are essential for producing results that can be applied in animal husbandry and veterinary practice. Maintaining close links with the agricultural sector is important for VRI: it helps communicate the potential of research to its users and gain a better understanding of their needs. Sharing experience can help put scientific findings into practice and address specific challenges in livestock farming.
