The journal Veterinární Medicína is again included in the worldwide PubMed Central database from August 7, 2023. The database records scientific articles in journals focused on biomedicine and natural sciences. Its operator is the National Library of Medicine - National Institutes of Health.
The journal Veterinární Medicína is published together with 10 other journals by the Czech Academy of Agricultural Sciences and fulfills the philosophy of Open Access. The focus of the journal covers the entire breadth of veterinary and biomedical sciences and accepts original papers, short communications, review articles and, to a certain extent, case studies.
The impact factor of the journal for the year 2022 reaches a value of 0.7, which ranks the journal in Q3 in the field of Veterinary Sciences in the WOS database. Re-inclusion in PubMed Central, we hope, will lead to greater visibility of the journal and an increase in its attractiveness and bibliometric indicators.
