A significant recognition of Prof. Rychlík’s academic reputation was his inclusion among the conference’s keynote speakers. Prof. Rychlík was the first keynote speaker to address the full audience before participants were divided into individual specialist sessions. It was one of the most prestigious presentations of the entire conference and, at the same time, a significant international recognition of the long-term scientific work of the Veterinary Research Institute in the fields of microbiology, animal health, and food safety.
The ICPIH conference is considered a key global platform for sharing the latest findings in the field of gut microbiota health. The organizers emphasize that current developments in poultry farming, the restriction of antibiotic use, and the growing focus on animal welfare make research into the gut microbiome and infectious diseases one of the fastest-growing fields in veterinary medicine. Prof. Rychlík’s participation as one of the keynote speakers confirms that the research conducted at the Veterinary Research Institute has a significant international impact and is widely respected by the global scientific community. Simultaneously, it serves as an inspiring example for young scientists and as evidence that cutting-edge veterinary research conducted in the Czech Republic can shape the direction of international scientific discussion.
According to available information, this year’s keynote speakers included only selected internationally recognized experts from Belgium, Germany, France, Portugal, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic. (Feed & Additive Magazine)
