This year, VRI once again organised its Socks for People Experiencing Homelessness collection, with donations going to the Centre for People Experiencing Homelessness, run by Oblastní charita Brno. For people experiencing homelessness and others facing difficult life circumstances, even meeting basic everyday needs can be a challenge. Donated clothing does more than simply protect people from the cold. It can provide greater comfort, help preserve their sense of dignity and make everyday life easier.
We are pleased that, at VRI, we can come together not only in our work but also to help others. The annual collection is a tangible expression of solidarity and a reminder that people in need should not be left on the margins of our concern. Thanks to our long-standing partnership with Diocesan Caritas Brno, we can turn this willingness to help into practical support.
We would like to thank all our colleagues who contributed to the collection, as well as those who helped organise it and arrange the delivery of the donations.
